Witches Cachiche is an enchanted village of Ica 

The village of Cachiche is also one of the main tourist attractions in Ica, Peru. Above all, the legends from a village formerly inhabited by witches.

In the past, the village of Cachiche in Ica-Peru, was synonymous with witchcraft for many Peruvians. It looked like a town of witches, as countless women housed according to iqueños possessed supernatural powers. The locals mentioned that served to remove the ills of the body and prepare for various concoctions santerías.

While it is true that Ica and Huacachina Oasis also , Dunes and striking islands attract much tourism, village Cachiche is also a symbol of this department, its mystery, beauty and stories.

It is said that the most famous witch was   Julia Hernandez Widow of  Diaz. She died at 106 years, after a life full of potions and spells.

Moreover, it is said that this witch mentioned that ( Ica will sink when  the seventh head of the "Palm of the Seven Heads" afloat. ".This palm is another tourist attraction of Ica with its own legends and special for having a curious way: soil born six palms that look like snakes, instead of going straight.Therefore, people always prevents the seventh head green again as they continue with the belief that has endured for centuries.Both the town, as the palm tree, have their charms and receive thousands of visitors per month.

the mysterious :Seven Heads Palm

It is a strange palm which main characteristic is that rarest not grow straight, however, the trunks have grown along the ground as if it were a petrified snake. At first glance seem to be several palm born subsoil instead of one, yet all have the same root but different "heads" or logs.

Although the name includes seven palm trees, the reality is that only six can be overlooked, an important reason: the legend of the inhabitants of Cachiche notes that if the head number seven is allowed to grow, could result in a flood or disaster affecting the whole city Ica.

This is due to the curse of one of the witches of the town before she die. About 10 years ago, settlers grown the seventh head and as a result suffered a flood caused by the phenomenon "del niño". That only caused fear for the legend to grow, but only the elderly are those who have more respect.
