PARACAS & ISLAS BALLESTAS: day 4

This day we made a tour on the Ballestas islands.
These islands are accessible from Paracas, near Pisco, making a circuit done by boat, allowing appreciating species in their environment securely. The complete circuit takes about two hours and begins at 7:30 am.

Previously we had to buy tickets around 3 to 4 dollars per person and wait for some minutes on the line for getting in the boats.

We were in the boat ready to go to the islands!!!

On the road you can see some fishing boats.

Sailing to the Ballestas Islands, in the way you can see the chandelier is large petroglyph that serves as a beacon to mariners. This geoglifo associated with the lines and geoglyphs of Nasca and Pampas de Jumana.

The Ballestas Islands are a group of islands composed of rock formations where there is an important marine wildlife with bird guano as guanay the booby and the tendril mainly include Ballestas Islands Northern central and South

There are colonies of Humboldt penguins that are endangered. Similarly, the Ballestas Islands are in the shelter of two varieties of seals (fur seals and droll wolves) and other mammals.

It is also of special interest when you are near these islands, hear the cries of wolf packs. It gives the impression of being surrounded by these animals practically 360 degrees.

The animal natural show is especially unique and matchless. These sea lions are harmless.

Back to the Coast we headed to eat in one of the many touristic restaurants, there is a market a few steps from here ,there are fishers feeding pelicans so we can take pictures with them, is a very nice place to visit and stay.
